Ron Ozer's professional career led him to work for some of America's leading financial institutions. From August 2008 to July 2014, he worked at global investment and technology development firm D.E. Shaw & Co. and focused on trading natural gas. From July 2015 to April 2017, he was the head US Natural Gas Portfolio Manager for American global financial institution Citadel.

Born in New York, Ron Ozer was valedictorian of his class at Tenafly High School in Bergen County, New Jersey. He then pursued his undergraduate degree in Mathematics with a minor in Economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While in MIT, Ron worked on various business ventures such as filing a provisional patent for a design for an e-cigarette back in 2006. This was way before e-cigarettes became popular. To build up his resume, he became an intern for Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers during his sophomore year. Even on top of his academic load and other activities, he worked briefly as a research associate at MIT’s Sloan Business School. In 2008, Ron Ozer graduated from the MIT after finishing his studies in three years. He was also a Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society Member.

A travel enthusiast, Ron Ozer considers Israel as his favorite place to visit. Aside from his fondness for traveling, his other hobbies include playing the guitar, poker, and snowboarding. Jay-Z is his favorite musician, and the New York Giants is his favorite sports team of all-time.
